朝内大街81号，北京著名的凶宅。这个名不见经传的地方居然胜过了一些墓地、废旧的工厂而跃居京城四大鬼宅之首，可见必有其过人之处。诡异的传说背后，或许隐藏着许多鲜为人知的秘密。
传说一：
这幢楼是1900年左右由皇帝赐给英国人建的教堂，当时和它一起建的就是王府井的教堂，但是由于工期比王府井那座慢，后来又爆发了战争，这座就停工了。据说在此楼下曾经有一条五公里长的地下通道，可以通往团结湖，在修环线地铁时被填埋了。这栋废弃的小楼曾经被电视剧组使用过多次，其中就包括一手捧红了陆毅的海岩剧《永不瞑目》。这无疑解释了那些过路人晚上对这栋无人小楼出现灯光的惊怵。
传说二：
如果你曾经在夏天某个炎热的酷暑当头的时候，从公寓前经过的话，会突然被袭袭凉意所惊奇。这是的确存在的事实，曾经有人做过实验，发现公寓前的温度要比离此二十米不远的地方低好几度，至于是否是地下有物而造成的，我们就不得而知了。

传说四：
